Anvara
Junior Partnerships Manager
New York, NY · $75,000-$100,000 · Full-time
About the company
Anvara is the marketplace where brands discover, evaluate, and close sponsorship deals across sports and live events. Brand customers include Delta, Brex, Kalshi, GoPuff, and BeReal. Properties include the Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies, LAFC, the Wynn, and Major League Pickleball. It has raised nearly $7 million, including from Game Changers Ventures, Marquee Ventures (the Cubs ownership group), Sequel, and angels from early Robinhood, ClickUp, Carta, and a founder who sold a company for $250 million.
Sponsorship is a $100 billion-plus global market still run on cold emails, spreadsheets, and handshake deals, with no centralized way to buy it the way people buy digital media. Anvara is building that. The culture is moonshot goals, customer obsession, full ownership, and high agency. Seed stage, about 11 to 50 people, founded in 2025, in New York.
About the role
Anvara is hiring a junior partnerships manager to bring the supply side of the marketplace online. You get rightsholders onto Anvara: sports teams, event organizers, and festivals. You help them list and sell inventory, and you build the relationships that make Anvara the default place to buy sponsorship. Every pro team, music festival, state fair, and event has inventory and no scalable way to reach buyers. You work with the founders and the senior partnerships lead, learn the business fast, and get real ownership early. Your feedback shapes the product. Your relationships shape the inventory.
You run the day-to-day rightsholder pipeline, from sourcing through onboarding and ongoing management. You run outbound to event organizers, festival producers, venues, and live-entertainment properties, following the playbook and sharpening it. You run discovery calls and demos, and you help rightsholders build strong listings: inventory, pricing, packaging, and audience. You support the senior partnerships lead on major and multi-property conversations. You work with the founders on pricing intelligence and which verticals to prioritize, and you feed what you learn back to product. You show up at industry events and dinners, and you own your numbers: pipeline, onboarding speed, and listing quality.
Bar: about 1 to 2 years in partnerships, sales, sports, live events, entertainment, or something close. Internships, a college sport, or a business you started all count. You care about sports and live events and want to learn how properties make money and how inventory is structured, priced, and valued. You will outwork the room, and you are detail-oriented: clean listings, accurate notes, and follow-through. You own the relationship from first outreach to a signed listing. You can explain a marketplace plainly to a producer or a sales director. A network of property, organizer, or venue contacts is a bonus. Wanting a comfortable pace, handing work off, or having no real interest in sports and live events is a miss.
In office five days a week in SoHo. Visa sponsorship is available. Equity is meaningful and early. Lunch, a travel and entertainment budget, personalized perks, and uncapped commission. Posted work intensity is 9-9-5. The process is an intro with the CEO, a conversation with the CTO, a case study, a deeper conversation, then references.
