Anvara

Senior Partnerships Manager

New York, NY · $90,000-$120,000 · Full-time

About the company

Anvara is the marketplace where brands discover, evaluate, and close sponsorship deals across sports and live events. Brand customers include Delta, Brex, Kalshi, GoPuff, and BeReal. Properties include the Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies, LAFC, the Wynn, and Major League Pickleball. It has raised nearly $7 million, including from Game Changers Ventures, Marquee Ventures (the Cubs ownership group), Sequel, and angels from early Robinhood, ClickUp, Carta, and a founder who sold a company for $250 million.

Sponsorship is a $100 billion-plus global market still run on cold emails, spreadsheets, and handshake deals, with no centralized way to buy it the way people buy digital media. Anvara is building that. The culture is moonshot goals, customer obsession, full ownership, and high agency. Seed stage, about 11 to 50 people, founded in 2025, in New York.

About the role

Anvara is hiring a senior partnerships manager to own the supply side of the marketplace. You bring rightsholders onto Anvara, help them list and sell inventory, and build the relationships that make Anvara the default. The rightsholders you bring on get access to hundreds of brands that are actively looking to sponsor. You work closely with the founders, build the motion from scratch, and over time hire and manage the rightsholder partnerships team. Compared with the junior seat, this one owns the strategy and the playbook, and it leads the biggest property conversations.

You own part of the rightsholder pipeline, from sourcing through onboarding and ongoing management. You build and run outbound to event organizers, festival producers, venues, and live-entertainment properties. You write the supply-acquisition playbook: what works, and what scales. You run discovery and demos, and you lead strategic conversations with major and multi-property organizations. You work with the founders on supply strategy, pricing intelligence, and which verticals to prioritize, and you feed that back to product. You represent Anvara at industry events, including Sports Business Journal conferences and dinners. You own the numbers: pipeline, onboarding speed, listing quality, and deal flow.

Bar: about 2 to 5 years in partnerships, sales, sports, live events, entertainment, banking, or something close. You understand how properties make money and how inventory is structured, priced, and valued. You have a warm network of decision-makers at teams, venues, festivals, and event organizations, and you can use it on day one. You own the whole relationship. You can translate a marketplace for a VP of partnerships, a producer, or a sales director. You live in the ecosystem, not only work next to it. A thin network, a need for a finished playbook, or handing relationships off is a miss.

In office five days a week in SoHo. Visa sponsorship is limited. Equity is meaningful and early. Lunch, a travel and entertainment budget, personalized perks, and uncapped commission. Posted work intensity is 9-9-5. The process is an intro with the CEO, a conversation with the CTO, a case study, a deeper conversation, then references.
